Lost Poems

Please

Please remember, please close your beautiful eye's and let yourself drift among the whitewashed
narrow streets of Seville.Smell the scented fragrance rolling on the gentle breeze picked up from
the harvested fields bordering the ancient walled city.

Tobacco leaf smoke ingrained in your embroidered dress the wildness in your heart an inner freedom
released.

Please remember the longing stares across floating music, spellbinding crowds ignorant of
our love thinking we jest has the players around.

Please remember our walk about the soft white sand how it felt to touch a speechless besotted man
how we lay side by side wanting each other so much are feelings carefree, unplanned.

Please remember the Shakespearean queen that made me cry our long for kiss on that winters tale night
in my arms I held you so tight I didn't want you ever to go.

O I would love one more kiss from thy beautiful mouth to sink into thee love thee become one but I realized at our last meet what little love was left was sadly, heartbreaking and long gone. No interest had I in the cursed Butterfly It was you that drew me
to the flame, and when realizing I was no longer wanted it broke my heart I no that wasn't your aim.

Were it began it ends my beautiful friend among the cliffs and Cornish sun, a place in your heart will never be enough
please remember our time has one.xx
